Engineering students in their pre-final or final year eligible to apply
Amazon India has launched a virtual summer school for engineering students to equip them with applied machine learning skills.
Students will have an opportunity to attend the virtual classroom tutorials and interactive sessions with scientists at Amazon.
The programme will act as a refresher course for engineering students who can earn practical perspectives of machine learning applications in the industry, Amazon said in a statement.
Engineering students in their pre-final or final year of their bachelor’s, master’s or PhD programmes are eligible to apply to the summer school. They will be selected on the basis of online assessment.
The programme will provide access to the Amazon Research Days (ARD) conference and students can learn about technology trends in the sector from renowned machine learning leaders from across the world.
It will allow students to learn how advanced machine learning techniques including deep learning and probabilistic graphical models can be used to solve particular problems in e-commerce domain.
