Male and female students to appear for exams on separate dates
Class X and XII Board exams will be conducted across Assam if reports of COVID-19 positive cases drop below 2%, the State’s chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said.
Sarma said the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) and Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will hold the board exams from mid-July following the safety protocols.
Male and female students will appear for exams on separate dates to avoid crowding and follow social distancing measures, the CM said.
The State’s education minister Ranoj Pegu had earlier announced that the State education Boards are in favour of conducting class-X and XII Board exams.
