The board’s official websites, including the UMANG and Digilocker apps, are facing technical hiccups and responding slowly. It presumably happened because lakhs of students rushed to the website to check their results in the same time frame.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared its Class 12 board results on July 13. However, the board’s official websites are facing technical pitfalls and responding slowly. It is presumed that lakhs of students would have rushed to the website to check their results in the same time frame.
There are reports that various official apps facilitated by CBSE, through which students can access their results, are not functioning.
Students and parents are caught in the middle of confusion. As the condition of disarray grows, various reactions are coming in from the student community.
Aditya Das, a CBSE candidate says, “I have been trying for one hour but none of the websites are working. I also tried the UMANG app and the digilocker app but it did not work. The stress and pressure that I am having now are inexpressible.”
Whereas, complaining about the unworkable website, another CBSE Class 12 student Deep Das said, “All the three websites are jammed, not even a single website is working, and my friends are also telling me that results are declared but none of us can see it. I tried Umang app and Digilocker app as well, but as usual, these apps also didn’t work. We don’t have any other option than waiting.”
Acknowledging the glitch, CBSE informed on Twitter: "As informed by NIC there is a technical issue in accessing cbse results. The same is likely to resume in two hours. However, complete results have been sent to all schools and students can obtain their results from schools. The results are also being pushed through Digilocker.
In addition to the arrangements made by CBSE to access results, complete results have also been sent to all schools. Schools can check their complete result from official email IDs created for each school by CBSE this year."
