Students, teaching and non-teaching staff must be fully vaccinated
Offline classes will resume in colleges and universities of Maharashtra
from October 20, 2021.
All students, teaching and non-teaching staff must be fully vaccinated before they enter the campus, Maharashtra higher education minister Uday Samant has said.
All universities should issue the standard operating procedures (SOPs) to colleges affiliated to it.
Non-agricultural colleges, state-run universities, deemed universities, self-financed universities and colleges affiliated to them can reopen. The state government had already allowed reopening of schools for higher classes. Students who are yet to be vaccinated with both the doses are to take their vaccines by coordinating with their respective colleges.
The colleges are to discuss the issue of reopening hostels with the officials of the higher and technical education department.
