Amazon Academy’s application designed to prepare engineering aspirants for IIT-JEE
Amazon entered India’s education sector with a bang on January 13, launching its edu-tech venture, Amazon Academy.
This is a digital application designed to prepare students for IIT-JEE and other engineering entrance examinations including the BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMJEEE, and MET.
The app provides substantial learning materials in addition to using pedagogical methods such as live lectures and continuous assessments in math, physics and chemistry. The course-work and exam content available through the application have been carefully curated by experts in the field of education.
Aiming to improve the results of engineering students, Amazon Academy will provide a series of mock tests with over 15,000 handpicked questions along with live All India Mock Tests (AIMT) scheduled at frequent intervals. Students can track their progress over time and identify their strong and weak areas using the app’s software. The high-tech software will also shed insight on a student’s overall test-taking strategy, assessing test performance through personalised reports with chapter-wise time and strength analysis.
“Our primary focus has been on content quality, deep learning analytics and student experience. This launch will help engineering aspirants prepare better and achieve the winning edge in JEE,” said Amol Gurwara, director at Amazon India.
The beta version of the application is currently available free of cost on Google Playstore and on web browsers.
