CSIR-UGC NET 2020 is scheduled to begin from November 19.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday released the revised dates for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET 2020 exam. The exam was initially scheduled to take place in June, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The application process to register for the examination was extended to September 10.
The CSIR-UGC NET June examination 2020 will now be conducted on November 19, 21, and 26. Aspirants can check the full schedule on the official website.
The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) UGC NET is held for determining the eligibility of candidates to be appointed as assistant professors and junior research fellows.
Issuing a notification on Friday, Dr. Sadhana Parashar, senior director NTA said “In a modification of dates announced earlier and in consultation with Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to conduct the Joint CSIR UGC NET, June 2020 on 19th, 21stth and 26th November 2020.”
The notice further reads “The downloading of Admit Cards indicating Roll Number, Centre, Date, Shift and Timing of Examination will commence shortly before the date of examination on the official website of the said examination.”
The CSIR UGC NET admit card will be released soon on the NTA’s official portal. Candidates are advised to visit the official site for regular updates.
