The All India Bar Examination 16 is conducted to give law graduates a certificate of practice
The last date for application for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 16 has been extended till September 25. Application fees can be paid till September 28. The AIBE 16 examination has also been rescheduled for October 31.
AIBE is an examination that is held nationally to award a certificate of practice (COP) to law graduates or final-year/semester undergraduate law students. Only on receiving a COP certificate, one can practice in a court of law in India.
The admit cards for AIBE 16 will be available on the website of allindiabarexamination.com from October 11.
How to apply for All India Bar Examination 16
Step 1- Go to the official website of AIBE— allindiabarexamination.com.
Step 2- Click on the link ‘AIBE 16 Registration’.
Step 3- Next you have to fill in the details like name, contact details, educational qualifications.
Step 4- Pay the application fees online through the payment getaways available.
Step 5- Submit the application form of AIBE 16.
Step 6- Download the application form for future use and take a printout.
For the application procedure, one will require documents such as a photograph, signature, enrolment certificate and photo identity proof. All documents are required to be self-attested. Without self-attestation, if any document is uploaded, it shall be rejected. So applicants must carefully follow the guidelines before filling up the application.
The All India Bar Examination can also be taken a few years after completing undergraduate law college. However, without a COP, no law degree-holder can be called a lawyer nor he/she can practice in a court of law.
