Initiative taken to help members from the university fraternity affected by the virus
The University of Delhi has urged its affiliated colleges to submit details of the paramedical team and staff, including male and female nurses appointed by them.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in the country, DU’s acting vice-chancellor PC Joshi said that the varsity is trying to gather medical resources to help members from the university fraternity affected by the pandemic.
The varsity is catering to the deteriorating situation of COVID-19, added Joshi. He has appealed to the stakeholders to search for medical professionals within the families of DU’s fraternity or in relation with them.
Delhi University has also deferred final-year exams on May 2. Earlier, the exams were scheduled to begin from May 15. However, the exams will now begin from June 1. The revised schedule will be released soon by the varsity.
