Educational YouTube channel and e-magazine also to be launched
The Directorate of School Education has announced the setting up of a digital studio in the Jammu division for teachers to deliver online lectures and take virtual classes.
The Union education ministry sanctioned the state-of-the-art technology studio under the Samagra Shiksha Scheme to help improve the standard of education in the Jammu division.
Following in the footsteps of the National Education Policy 2020, the digital studio will be structured around integrated learning mechanisms to provide school children with holistic education. Art, culture, sports, and other extracurricular activities will be included in the curriculum.
An official YouTube channel, Shiksha Darpan, will also be launched to broadcast informative video content along with an e-magazine, Shiksha Patrika, for written content contributed by students and teachers.
Jammu's Director of School Education, Anuradha Gupta, said teachers and professors in the division are thrilled with this new-age technology and look forward to more efficient and effective learning.
