Students who have passed Class X are eligible to apply; last date to apply is June 20
The Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has opened up applications for the DRDO apprentice Recruitment 2021 and a total of 47 vacancies will be filled. Students as young as 15 years of age or those who have passed their class-X Board exams are eligible to apply.
The detailed application is available on the DRDO official website and the last date to apply is June 20.
As per the notification, to be eligible to apply for “DRDO apprentice Recruitment 2021” candidates must have passed class X from a recognised board of education and hold an ITI Certificate in the relevant trade. In addition, applicants must have completed 14 years as on the closing date of application.
To apply, download the application form the DRDO portal, take a printout and fill in all the required details and scan them along with other required documents.
Candidates will have to send scanned copies of all the documents and application form in a pdf file to email@example.com.
However, in order to apply, it is mandatory to first register themselves on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal.
Selection will be based on merit. The Board comprises the director, Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur, who will scrutinise the applications received and shortlist the candidates on the basis of the marks secured by applicants in the qualifying examination. The selected candidates will get a monthly stipend of Rs 7,000.
