Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank to directly engage with students on Facebook and Twitter
Have questions about the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020? Here’s your chance to get them answered by the Union minister of education, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, himself.
Pokhriyal addressed students through his Facebook and Twitter handles on September 28, announcing that he would be answering their queries on NEP 2020 on October 1.
Ever since the new education policy was announced on July 29, it has been a major topic of discussion and dissection, with students flooding the minister’s social media handles with their questions.
Aimed as a step towards transparency, the MoE has encouraged students to ask questions and spread the word to include their peers in the discussion through the hashtag, #NEPTransformingIndia.
This session comes right after the two-week-long Shikshak Parv initiative, where educators and academics engaged in multiple webinars, conclaves and prize distribution ceremonies to amplify conversations around NEP 2020.
