The one-hour webinar will be held on January 21 from 5pm
In order to assist students with their PhD admission process and to help them understand what they can expect from the course, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta, for the first time, will host a webinar for its PhD applicants.
The webinar will be held on January 21 from 5pm to 6pm and will be hosted by the faculty members of the Organisational Behaviour Group.
The doctoral programme at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta was started in 1971. It is a full-time programme that offers students opportunities for advanced studies and research in different specialisations related to Management Science. These include economics, finance and control, human resource management, management information systems, marketing, operations management, organisational behaviour, public policy and management, and strategic management.
“Currently the application process is on and we believe that this webinar will help clear doubts and answer all the queries by the students,” said an IIM-Calcutta official.
An PhD aspirant can apply for at the most two areas of specialisation and needs to have taken the Common Admission Test (CAT) in 2020 or, depending on chosen specialisation(s) must have taken alternative test(s) in lieu of the CAT as specified by IIM Calcutta. The test scores should be valid on January 28, 2021.
The institute may extend more subject specific webinars for PhD applicants in future.
