Affiliation to allow students to avail CFA scholarships
The Indian Institute of Management(IIM) Nagpur has been accepted among the youngest management institutions to be affiliated by the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute, and is the sixth IIM to be certified under this university affiliation programme. It will allow students to avail scholarships for the CFA programme.
The globally-acclaimed CFA Institute sets a bar in the investment management industry with professional excellence, and developing skills, standards and competence of financial analysts, investment advisers among others.
The partnership opens up a number of opportunities for students to engage with global experts and become future-ready, said the director of IIM Nagpur, Bhimaraya Metri.
Under the affiliation programme, IIM Nagpur will get an opportunity to work in association with CFA Institute and introduce practical knowledge into classrooms.
