The application process will start from July 2
The Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2021 application process for filling up 350 posts of Navik (general duty), Navik (domestic branch) and Yantrik will start from July 2 and continue till July 16.
Students willing to apply for Navik (general duty/domestic branch) must have passed 10+2 with maths and physics from an education board recognised by the government.
For the post of Yantrik, applicants should clear Class X with a diploma in electrical or mechanical or electronics or telecommunication (radio/power) engineering.
The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum is 22 years.
The selection of candidates will be done through four stages of examination.
Stage I: Candidates will have to appear for the exam in two papers. The questions for Paper-1 will be from maths, science, English, reasoning and general knowledge. Questions will be asked for Paper-2 from maths, physics, electrical engineering, electronic engineering and mechanical engineering.
Stage 2: Based on their performance in the previous stage, candidates will be called for a physical fitness test and an initial medical examination.
Stage 3: Successful candidates will be called for the final medical test at INS Chilka.
Stage 4: Candidates clearing the medical test will be provisionally shortlisted for training at INS Chilka as per vacancies available.
