The J&K administration allowed centre and state-run training institutions to remain operational
The administration of Jammu and Kashmir has directed all educational institutions including schools, colleges, higher educational institutions, anganwadi centres to remain shut till December 31. However, the training institutions run by the central and state government will remain operational.
The order released by the administration has allowed coaching centres and institutions to run their classes outside containment zones with up to 50 per cent capacity.
Around 50 per cent of teaching and non-teaching staff are allowed to be called to the school outside the containment zones to conduct online learning and tele-counselling, the order said. Students of classes 9 to 12 can visit their schools outside the containment zones after taking guidance from their teachers.
Research scholars and postgraduate students from science and technical programmes are allowed to visit the higher educational institutions for research and experimental works.
