The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will announce the results of class 12 board exams on July 17 at 1 pm. JAC chairman, Arvind Prasad Singh said, “We will announce the results of class-12 board exams on Friday. The results will be out at 1pm.” State Human Resource Development minister, Jagarnath Mahto, will announce the results at the JAC office, he added.
Over 2.34 lakh students took the examinations this year. The examinations for all three streams were conducted in February. Officials said JAC was supposed to declare the results by May but it was rescheduled due to lockdown.
The examinations commenced from February 10 this year, and ended on February 28. The board exams started with vocational papers and concluded with biology, geography and business mathematics.
JAC had planned to start the evaluation of papers from March 20, but it was delayed due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Finally the evaluation procedure began from May 28.
