Students to submit parents’ consent before joining offline classes
Schools in Jharkhand will reopen for Classes VI to VIII from September 20. The decision has been taken in view of the declining number of COVID-19 cases in the state.
Schools have been asked to follow strict Covid-19 guidelines while conducting offline classes.
Attendance for offline classes will not be mandatory as classes would continue both online and offline. Students must submit consent letters from their parents before joining physical classes.
Group activities are prohibited to ensure social distancing on the campus. Wearing a mask covering the mouth and nostrils is mandatory for all the students, teachers, and staff on the school premises. All teachers and staff must also be vaccinated. Schools have been asked to avoid use air-conditioning in classrooms and to keep rooms well-ventilated.
Offline classes had resumed for Classes IX to XII in August 2, 2021.The schools have been asked to limit offline classes to 4 hours and only till 12pm.
