Staggered classes, masks, social distancing
The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has released a fresh set of COVID-19 safety guidelines for students and faculty amid a surge in COVID-19 cases in the state.
The faculty have been asked to hold staggered classes and students have been advised not to step out of hostels unless necessary.
All students or visitors from Maharashtra have to submit a negative RT-PCR report (not older than 72 hours) or remain in 14-day quarantine.
Students have to wear masks and maintain social distancing in public places, libraries, laboratories, markets and hostels.The order dated April 11 will be in immediate effect till April 30 or till further orders, stated the JNU notice.
