M.Sc and MCA students to also rejoin campus from February 1
Fourth-year PhD students will be allowed into the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) campus from January 15. M.Sc and MCA students will also rejoin the campus from February 1. The varsity reopened its campus from November 2020 in a phased manner.
JNU said the fourth-year PhD students from all science schools, special centres and other countries who require access to laboratories will be allowed to enter the campus from January 15. M.Sc and MCA students (fourth semester only) from all science schools and special centres who require access to the labs can rejoin the campus from February 1.
JNU had earlier allowed the return of PhD scholars who required access to laboratories and libraries from December 21, 2020.
The JNU administration has decided to conduct Covid-19 tests inside the campus at regular intervals, keeping in mind the new contagious strain of the virus.
