Provision also extended to bachelors and masters students under PwD category
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) on Sunday said that all final-year MPhil students requiring access to the premises to submit their dissertations would be allowed back on campus from March 8. The university has also extended this provision to Bachelors and Masters students who fall under the category of people with disabilities, in case they need access to the laboratories and other facilities.
An official order from the varsity stated that the reopening of all authorised canteens except Mughal Durbar and the food court have been allowed with immediate effect, besides the railway reservation counter and service shops such as hair salons, cobblers, and photocopy outlets.
The varsity had previously allowed fourth semester MPhil and MTech students from its science school and special centre, along with final year MBA students who were day scholars and hostel residents to return to campus in different phases of reopening.
