Students to attend physical classes only after parental consent
The Karnataka government has issued a new set of safety guidelines as colleges and universities prepare to reopen on January 15. Students studying in undergraduate, postgraduate, engineering and diploma courses are set to return to campus after a span of ten months.
The guidelines state that students will require parental consent before attending physical classes at the campus. Classes will function at 50% of its total strength and the wearing of masks will be mandatory. Libraries and canteens will also have to follow a strict set of safety protocols.
