‘ICAI views such misdemeanour very seriously’
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has warned of legal action against anyone sending threat emails to examination centres.
Chartered accountancy (CA) examination centres across the country have received threat emails. The CA exams began on November 21.
"The institute has viewed such misdemeanour by the candidates very seriously. It amounts to interfering in the examination process of the Institute which is a statutory function under the provisions of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949," said ICAI in a statement.
The institute also declared in its official statement that action has already been initiated in accordance with law against some such students.
