Students from classes 1 to 8 won’t have exams this year
At the School Education Department review meeting on December 4, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that classes 1 to 8 will not reopen till March 31, 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The students also won’t have tests this year, and will be evaluated based on projects and assignments.
For classes 9 to 12, Chouhan said that schools will open only once or twice a week, especially for those who are in standards 10 and 12, due to the upcoming board exams. All COVID-19 safety protocols will be strictly followed.
