The National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) will offer diploma courses in guidance and counselling in both distance-learning and face-to-face modes.
Teachers, teacher educators and key personnel from Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, state education departments and NGOs can enrol for the course.
The application forms for the courses are available on the official website of the NCERT https://ncert.nic.in/. The last date to apply is November 5, 2021.
The course will be split into 3 phases —Guided Self-Learning for 6 months in distance mode, Intensive Practicum for 3 months in a full-time contact programme at the study centre and an internship for 3 months in the candidate’s home town or place of work.
The admission process for the course will be based on availability, selection test and interview. These will be held at NCERT (DEPFE), New Delhi, and Regional Institute of Education in December 2021.
