A notice uploaded on the MCC website has declared the schedule for all the rounds of counselling
The schedule for counselling of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020, has been announced on the Medical Counseling Committee’s (MCC) website. This schedule pertains to the 15% All India Quota (AIQ), and seats offered by central and deemed universities, All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER).
According to the notice, the window for registration, payment and the option to choose from the list of participating colleges will be open to candidates from October 27 to November 2, followed by the results for seat allotment on November 5. The reporting window will be between November 6 and 12, wrapping up the first round of counselling.
Registrations, payments and choice filling under the second round will commence on November 18, and wrap up by November 22. Results will be declared on November 25, and the reporting window will be open from November 26 to December 2. The transfer of Non-Reporting and Non-Joining Vacant seats from 15% AIQ to State Quota will be done on December 3.
The MOP-UP round for Central and deemed universities, ESIC, AIIMS and JIPMER will open registration, payment and choice filling window from December 10 to 14, and announce its results on December 17. The period for reporting will begin on December 18, and close on December 24. The transfer of Non Reporting and Non Joining Vacant seats to Deemed, Central Universities and ESIC for the Stray Vacancy Round will be held between December 28 and 31.
The MCC has also released a notice stating that students who had applied under the Indian/Others category, but wish to change their category to Non-Resident Indian (NRI) can now do so.
