Only candidates who complete their internship on or before June 30 can apply
The exam date for the National Eligibility Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2021 has been declared by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). The exam will be conducted on April 18 in a computer-based platform at various centres across the country.
An official notice by the NBE states that only those candidates who complete their internship on or before June 30 can apply for the exam, provided they fulfil other eligibility criteria prescribed in the information bulletin.
Updates regarding the NEET PG 2021 information bulletin and application form will be available at www.nbe.edu.in and www.natboard.edu.in.

The notice also states that NBE reserves the right to amend or defer the date due to any unforeseen circumstances in consultation with the National Medical Commission and the Union ministry of health and family welfare.
NEET PG is conducted every year for admission to 10,821 Master of Surgery (MS) seats, 19,953 Doctor of Medicine seats (MD) and 1,979 PG diploma seats at 6,102 institutes.
