Puducherry Technological University vice chancellor to be selected by panel

A search panel will select a vice chancellor of the newly established Puducherry Technological University.

Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, Kiran Bedi, who is the chancellor of the university, set up the panel consisting of three members. The panel will submit its recommendations to the government as early as possible, a press release said.

Pondicherry Engineering College, established in 1984, was recently upgraded to a state-level technological university. The institute is the first state-level university in Puducherry to have a Central university.
