Decision taken due to a surge in COVID-19 cases
The Rajasthan government has postponed the Class X, XII examinations due to the surge in COVID-19 cases. Students of Classes VIII, IX, and XI have been promoted to the next class without examinations.
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has decided to promote the students of Classes VI and VII without annual examinations as well. The students will be assessed based on internal assignments and projects.

Earlier, the Rajasthan government had announced Classes I to IX will remain temporarily closed till April 19. Colleges across the State have also been shut except for final year students.
