The Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank virtually launched the DuroKea product range developed at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad on April 16.
DuroKea Technology has been introduced by Kea Biotech Pvt. Ltd. to create long-lasting hygiene products such as hand sanitisers, masks and surface disinfectants that tackle coronavirus and other germs instantly.
“IIT Hyderabad has had a tremendous contribution towards nation-building and I was to offer my gratitude to the institute. I am confident that the products being launched today to potently combat coronavirus will not just be used by India, but the entire world. Its unique formulation makes it a one-of-a-kind product in the entire world. The PM has continuously stressed on three things; ease of business, ease of living and ease of decision making, and if this product performs well in all three parameters, it will be beneficial to all of mankind,” said Pokhriyal.
