Online exam to be conducted by the alumni of IITs, NITs and IIMs
The alumni network of Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) will conduct a National Level Common Entrance Examination (NLCEE) 2021 online from January 21 to 25, which will carry scholarships worth Rs 5 crore.
Students from classes IX to XII, students who have cleared class XII, and those who have completed their graduation will be eligible to sit for the exam to be administered by Edvizo.
Students aspiring to take sign up for online or offline coaching classes to prepare for competitive exams such as Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), State engineering, banking, railways, defence and others can take the exam to avail of the scholarship on the tuition fee.
All-India 1st and 2nd rank holders (six students) will receive laptops, 3rd and 4th holders (six students) will receive tablets, and 18 students falling between ranks 5 and 10 will receive android smartphones. The top 5,000 students will also receive e-certificates.
Edvizo said that the aim of the exam is to identify talented candidates and extend maximum support to the underprivileged by providing scholarships, so that more students can receive the education they want.
The statement added that NLCEE is the only admission test in the country accepted by thousands of online and offline coaching institutes, and students can take admissions into institutes through their ranks, and can even pay the monthly fees as per their convenience.
