Encouraging response to ISRO competition from school children
Imagination and knowledge of space science and technology found a platform at the ISRO Cyberspace Competitions (ICC) 2020 recently.
The online competition for school students received lakhs of entries from across the country. Participants competed in eight categories — Drawing (classes I-III), Model-making (classes IV-V and classes VI to VIII)) Essay Writing in Hindi and English (classes IX-X and XI-XII) and Quiz (classes XI-XII).
Chandraja. S, a Class III student of Kendriya Vidyalaya NTPC, Kayamkulam, Alappuzha, Kerala won the drawing competition. Shivangi Bose, a Class XI student of Happy Child High School, Guwahati, won the essay-writing among seniors.
The results were announced by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on the website.
