Revised schedule to change depending on special circumstances
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released a revised schedule for recruitment exams to be held in 2021-22.
According to the officials, the revised calendar has been uploaded on the UPPSC’s official website. The revised schedule can also go through changes depending on special circumstances, Arvind Kumar Mishra, exam controller of UPPSC has said.
The revised schedule states that prelims exams for combined state, or upper subordinate services have been deferred to October 24 followed by the main examinations on January 28, 2022.
The assistant conservator of forest (ACF) and range forest officer (RFO) prelims exam will be conducted on October 24 followed by mains examination on March 7, 2022.
Unani medical officer screening exam 2018 is scheduled for July 25, followed by the combined state agricultural services (prelims) exam 2020 on August 1.
The lecturer (male/female) government intermediate college recruitment (preliminary) exam 2020 will take place on September 19, and the staff nurse (male/female) recruitment exam 2021 will be conducted on October 3.
The original exam calendar was released on January 15 but the commission could not conduct five of the scheduled recruitment exams set between April to June amid COVID-19 surge. This necessitated the release of the newer version of the exam calendar.
Meanwhile, the five recruitment exams that the commission failed to conduct amid the spike in COVID-19 cases, has as many as 2,777 posts on offer and has also attracted around 13-lakh candidates.
