Decision taken to control the surge in COVID-19 cases
All schools in Uttar Pradesh have been asked to suspend offline classes till April 30. Coaching centres are also scheduled to remain closed till the end of April.
Exams will, however, be held on schedule. Teachers and staff members have also been asked to attend school.

Earlier, the state government had announced the closure of classes I to VIII till April 11. The new order issued by the state has asked schools and coaching centres to discontinue offline classes for the time-being.
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has also rescheduled final exam dates for Classes X and XII. According to the revised dates, Class X final exams will be held from May 8 to 25. Final exams for Class XII will be held from May 8 to 28.
