Overall pass percentage for Higher Secondary 2021 is 97.69%
The West Bengal Higher Secondary 2021 results were announced at 3pm on July 22.
“The overall pass percentage for Higher Secondary 2021 exams stands at 97.69%,” said Mahua Das, the president of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE), which conducts the Higher Secondary (HS) examinations. The pass percentage of boys is 97.7 and that of girls is almost same, she said.
A total of 8,19, 202 students had enrolled for the 2021 examination.
As many as 86 students have secured position among the top 10 but only one student — a girl from Murshidabad — has secured 499 marks out of 500.
The HS council has not released any merit list this year. The results will be available online from 4pm. Students can check their results on the official websites of the board wbchse.nic.in and wbresults.nic.in by using their registration number.
