Results link live now, mark sheets can be collected from schools
West Bengal Madhyamik 2021 results came with many firsts — a pass percentage of 100, the highest so far in the history of the examinations, and first division marks for 90% of students.
West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) president Kalyanmoy Ganguly confirmed the figures at a virtual press conference on July 20, while declaring the WBBSE Madhyamik 2021 results.
“The students who wish to improve their scores will have the opportunity to appear for the exam again. In that case, the marks published on July 20 will no longer be considered. The final results will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the test,” Ganguly said.
The highest marks secured was 697 out of a total of 700 marks and 79 students shared the score. Madhyamik 2020 recorded a pass percentage of 86.34%. Even a decade ago, the pass percentage for Madhyamik was 80.57% in 2011.
The online results link has been activated. Candidates can now check their results on https://www.abpeducation.com/results/west-bengal-madhyamik-result using their login credentials.
The board has asked guardians to collect the marksheets from respective schools on July 20 by providing the candidate's registration number.The students will also get their admit cards along with their results. Schools have been asked to ensure strict COVID-safety protocol while distributing mark sheets.
