Madhyamik Results 2020:

The West Bengal Madhyamik 2020 results has been declared. The overall pass percentage has met a new record this year with 86.34 percent students clearing the exams. Boys performed better than girls. The pass percentage among boys is 89.87 percent while 83.48 percent girls cleared the exams.

East Midnapore recorded the highest pass percentage with 96.59 percent students clearing the Madhyamik exams. West Midnapore recorded a pass percentage of 92.16 percent while Kolkata recorded a pass percentage of 91.07 percent.

Aritra Pal of Memari Vidyasagar School in Purba Bardhaman Topped the Madhyamik Exams 2020 with 694 marks (99.14 percent).

Sayantan Gorai and Avik Das have secured the second position jointly. While Souma Pathak, Deboshmita Mahapatra and Aritra Maity have secured third position with 690 marks.

 

Madhyamik Exams 2020: 

The WBBSE Class 10 or Madhyamik examination was conducted between February 18 to 27 in 2,839 centers across West Bengal. A total of 10,15,888 candidates appeared for the Madhyamik examinations this year. The paper evaluation has been delayed due to the Coronavirus lockdown situation. 

 

Madhyamik Results 2019:

The West Bengal Madhyamik Results 2019 was announced on May 21, 2019. A total of 10,50,397 students had appeared for the examination. The overall Pass Percentage was recorded at 86.07 percent. The pass percentage of male candidates was 89.97 percent, while for female candidates it stood at 82.87. 

Sougata Das of Mahammadpur Deshpran Vidyapith in Midnapore East district topped the Madhyamik Examination 2019 securing 694 out of total 700 marks with 99.14 percent. This was the highest ever score recorded in West Bengal Madhyamik exam till date.

Shreyashi Paul from Falakata Girls High School in North Bengal’s Alipurduar district and Debasmita Saha from Ila Devi Girls High School in Cooch Behar district came second with 691 marks (98.71 percent) in 2019.

Camelia Roy from Raiganj Girls High School in North Dinajpur district and Bratin Mondal from Santipur Municipal High School in Nadia district came third with 689 marks (98.42 percent) in 2019. A total of 51 students featured in the top 10 merit list, among which 50 were from district schools and 21 were girls.
