Universität Luzern is inviting applications from PhD and MA students for its Ethics in a Global Context course, offered in collaboration with UNESCO.
The course is an unique opportunity to contribute in searching for solutions to global issues such as climate change and poverty.
Lucerne Summer University: Ethics in a Global Context, under the patronage of the UNESCO, enables young scientists and researchers to examine ethical questions of today and tomorrow — beyond the boundaries of academic fields, cultures and religion — and to search together for solutions in a global context.
This practical and action-oriented dialogue is ideal for nurturing e a constantly expanding, international network of committed decision-makers who exchange knowledge, advise each other and work together. The guiding principle of this endeavour is “Know how, act now”.

The faculty of Lucerne Summer University: Ethics in a Global Context is both interdisciplinary and international. It follows a hands-on approach and brings together experts from international organizations, science and research, business, arts, and interfaith and intercultural dialogue.
Candidates are required to have good command of English (LSUE is conducted in English) and needs to show his/her interest in ethical questions of today and the future in a global context. Applicant must also explain how they want to contribute to the global and interdisciplinary network.
