Scholarship worth £28,500 to cover tuition fee, living costs and relocation costs
University of East Anglia, UK, is all set to provide fully-funded Sonny Mehta India annual scholarship worth £28,500 to budding Indian writers for its creative writing MA programme 2021.
The scholarship is being endowed by Gita Mehta, to honour her late husband Sonny Mehta, chairman at the Knopf Doubleday Group and the editor-in-chief of US publishing house Alfred A Knopf.
The scholarship is available to students in India, the Indian sub-continent, North Africa and West Asia. The money granted will cover tuition fee and living costs, along with relocation costs to the UK for the creative writing course.
In addition to a creative-writing potential, the eligibility criteria also states that the candidates must be self-funded and in need of financial aid. The last date to apply for the scholarship is May 14, 2021.
The scholarship will be provided to help Indian students secure their dreams of studying abroad with substantial financial support at the post-graduation level.
