Set up for students returning home, the centre will be remained open till December 18
As a precautionary measure, the University of St Andrews in Scotland has been turned into a mass coronavirus testing centre. This step has been taken as a part of the COVID-19 testing programme across the country for students who are planning on returning home ahead of the festive break.
The tests results are shown within 30 minutes and sent to the students within 24 hours. Students testing COVID positive hope to recover through self-isolation before they leave for their homes.The centre will remain open till December 18.
